The 41st Turf care equipment and material trade show

Baroness exhibited at the “Turf care equipment and material trade show”, held at Expo Memorial Park in Osaka from October 9th to 11th. This exhibition end on a high note with 45 exhibitors and approximately 1,500 visitors over the 2 days. In recent years, the situation surrounding turf management has been facing increasingly harsh conditions, such as increasingly hot weather and a shortage of greenkeepers and other turf management personnel, and many of the latest materials and machinery to solve these problems were on display. This was the first time the event had been held in 6 years, and we had a good opportunity to introduce Baroness products to not only Japanese customers but also many different countries customers.

The highlight products of the event were lineup of autonomus mower, and the UGM170 autonomus rotary mower for roughing was especially attracted. Furthermore, we exhibited the main products of Baroness, LM551B, FS1710 and LM351, as well as the GR05W is used at Koshien, where the National High School Baseball Championship is held. We also held a seminar at the outdoor exhibition as the first time attempt . The seminar was about autonomus mower and grinders, and it was a great opportunity for visitors to get to know our products.

Comments from Mr. Hamagami, the leader of this exhibition :
The main concept of this time was to bring the autonomus mowers to the forefront. Therefore, we exhibited the autonomus reel mower 'ULM272' and the autonomus rotary mower 'UGM170,' which we started test sales around September of this year in Japan. Additionally, we are pleased to have the opportunity to present the main products of Baroness, LM551B, FS1710, and LM351.

We feel that autonomus mowers have gradually gained recognition over the past few years, but we also feel that they have not yet penetrated the market. When customers hear the word "autonomus mower" many of them feel it is out of reach, so we believe this has been a good opportunity to present it as a more practical and accessible option. In addition to lawn mower, we have started selling golf carts, irrigation systems and reel grinders since last year.
