Baroness's Vision for the Future of Mower Technology

　Baroness participated in the BIGGA Turf Management Exhibition from Tuesday 1/21 to Thursday 1/23. BTME, which began in 1980, is a trade show dedicated to the golf course and sports facility turf management industry, featuring the latest technology and equipment, as well as lectures and workshops by experts. It is a place where industry professionals gather to learn about efficient and environmentally friendly turf management and find new business opportunities.

Autonomous mower "ULM272"

　During the 3-day exhibition, 4204 visitors attended and 157 exhibitors participated. In this exhibition, BARONESS showcased an autonomous mower named ULM272 for the first time in Europe as a sample display, demonstrating that it could become the new generation standard for golf course management. Autonomus mower is innovative machine that can perform mowing operations unattended while maintaining a high quality cut provided by the Baroness. By introducing advanced technology, it will be an unprecedented next-generation management that achieves “high labor saving” and “high efficiency” based on the Baroness quality. The introduction of the ULM272 will enable stable operations and labor-saving management even in situations where manpower is in short supply. Furthermore, collaborative works between human and autonomus mower have been realized. Our goal is to make effective use of human resources and improve the quality of courses.
　Nowadays it is not rare for us to see the autonomous robotic rotary mowers on golf courses with labor shortages, our ULM272 can provide the beautiful cutting quality and wider cutting width thanks to the 5-cutting-reel. The ULM272 has the durable cutting reels, which provide more stable cutting accuracy and easier maintenance. We received great interest and many inquiries from golf course officials from around the world. Especially, we strongly felt the high level of interest in autonomus mower and the positive attitude for technological advancement.

Battery mower "LMB12"

　We also exhibited a small battery mower, the "LMB12" as a reference product. The LMB12 is a rechargeable battery type and adopt a Baroness reel cutter for high cutting quality and durability. It is also small and lightweight making easy to use in a small space. This machine is attracting attention from golf couses as a product that can be used without stressing the turf, even in areas where there is a lot of delicate like near clubhouse, softer turf, such as around pot bunkers or ponds.

All products were very well received.

　There were also an award ceremony who sold the baroness products the most and a party for the Baroness dealers.
